Casa Marie-José is the oldest of the three vacation houses in Dolina Village. This house is over 100 years old, and according to our elderly neighbors, one of the oldest houses still standing in Zece Hotare.

This house keeps its original character, both inside and outside. When restoring the house, we tried to use as many old, salvaged materials as possible. We named this house “Marie-José” after Luc’s mother, who made it possible to buy the property the house lays on.

The house has two bedrooms, a spacious living room, small kitchen and bathroom, divided over the ground floor and the attic.

The two bedrooms are to be found in the attic of the house. The main bedroom is rested with a comfortable queen-size bed, while the small bedroom has two twin beds.

The living room, at the ground floor, has an extendable couch, that can accommodate two more sleepers. The mattresses on all of the beds are of premium quality.

The kitchen is set up with pans and pots, cutlery, plates, cups and everything else necessary to prepare a proper meal. Of course, there is also a fridge, a gas burner and a dishwasher.

The bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower is also on the ground floor. Towels and hygiene products such as soap, shower gel and shampoo are complementary.

The house has a small terrace, where you can relax, read, or enjoy a meal in the fresh mountain air. Right outside the house, you will find the barbeque grill.

During colder days, you can use the wooden stove to warm up the house.
